Although this is a franchise restaurant, I don’t have a bad word to say about it and am yet to have bad seafood here. Sarah is Portuguese so average seafood is just not an option. The food always fresh, fast and fantastic. This one has a nice location on the Beach Front, with a view of Table Mountain and the sunset (In the evenings:).
I had a platter for one, which was Prawns, mussels, Kingklip (line fish), Grilled Calamari and fried Calamari heads. Sarah and Sonya had grilled Prawns and Talulah stared at her Sushi (and ate my Calamari). The food is served in grill pans and baby frying pans, is simple and hearty.
A Tuesday night and there was not a free table in sight, but the waiters handled well and the managers chipped in promptly when needed.
Desert was a mildly above average chocolate mousse cake, but this place is all about the fish. You can bring you own wine with a R15 corkage.
