Question from SA Logue reader: What is that thing, really?
Answer from SA Logue editor, who’s in a goofy mood: it’s a sculpture by the enfant terrible of the SA arts world, Brett Murray, and it’s planted right smack in the middle of downtown, in the busy pedestrian thoroughfare of lower St. George’s Mall (map). It’s called “AFRICA”.
Question: What does it mean?
Answer: You mean it’s not perfectly obvious?
