WorldCupBlog is Online Heaven for Soccer Fans
If ever there was a compelling case to change your homepage for a quarter of a year, WorldCupBlog.org is it.
The site, of which the funny and talented Bob Kellet is the overlord, has some impressive stats: 34 blogs, including one tracking each team at the Cup, and an average of over 150 posts per week.
South Africa, as everyone will know, doesn’t get a team blog, because our national side’s horrendous collapse during the qualifiers last year prevented a trip to Germany; but, as the next host of the event, we are accorded some seedling territory on Bob’s site, which will doubtless develop over the next few years into a fully-fledged forest of 2010 info.
