Review
Why not overnight in Khayelitsha township during your stay in Cape Town? – and experience true African Flair while meeting friendly people, and, of course, enjoying the warm hospitality of your hostess, Maria.
Majoro’s has two modest but comfortable bedrooms – one with a double bed and one with two single beds. It’s close to several shebeens (informal pubs), and serves a hearty, full English breakfast to help you recover from your night out in Africa – complete with flapjacks fresh from the griddle!
Maria and her staff can take you on a tour to see local crafters and nearby wetlands, and if there’s traditional cultural event that is happening, they’ll make sure you get to see the performances and rituals. Tours are either on foot or in public “minibus taxis”, where you can meet other people on the way.
