Roosevelt Nightclub: 160 Bree Street.

Just at the edge of the Urban decay in Bree Street; Roosevelt has opened its doors and promises to be a very chic venue indeed. They have certainly spent a great deal of money on the décor and sound system, and it goes to show that Cape Town has easily caught up with our international counterparts. It has the atmosphere of a jazzy, smoky cigar lounge with opulent leather booths that could have been lifted from the Four Seasons, and a great curved wooden bar which must have taken some effort indeed.

The music and cocktails are good and the crowd is Cape Town at its Cliquiest, but that is just part of the Mother City and is fun in itself. Check it out.

Roosevelt will be hosting live performances also, so watch this space.
