Sometimes, you just get good vibes from a place – and Hout Bay View is full of ’em.

The biggest reason behind this are the owners, Andrew and Bryan. UK and US expats who split their time in South Africa, they decided to resettle in Hout Bay in 2005. They found a home that had suffered from years of neglect and revamped it into a B&B with a bright, airy feel and great views of the mountains, beach and ocean from the front patio.

All rooms are en suite and come with fans, although there are plans for air conditioning in late 2006. The guest lounge has A/C. Downtown Hout Bay, the harbour and the beach are just a 10-minute walk away.
