Find Platteklip Gorge with this Photo
Thinking of taking a hike up the front face of Table Mountain this weekend? The route you’ll most likely follow is the Platteklip Gorge path, which many people have difficulty finding. (They then either “bundu bash” their way up to the top, or get lost and return to the cableway.)
Here’s a picture to forearm you with a sense of where the gorge is. It’s represented as the line that reaches the top of the “table” about 2/3 of the way toward the mountain’s right-hand endpoint (where the cableway’s upper base is). Have a look:
